Agave syrup stands in for the more familiar honey in this classic dressing. It brings a mild and pleasant sweetness without the spike in blood sugar levels.
No agave mustard dressing is complete without mustard, and we choose Dijon for its flavor and health benefits. Dijon mustard is a pungent, creamy mustard originating from the city of Dijon in the Burgundy region of France, and believe it or not, is rich in compounds called glucosinolates, which have antioxidant properties that protect against cell damage!
This agave mustard dressing is great on salads or for dipping and can even be used as a marinade and glaze for baked tofu.
